Tremco Dymeric 240FC Multi-Component Polyurethane Sealant - 1.5 Gallon Pail

Tremco Dymeric 240FC is a gun grade, multi-component, chemically curing, polyurethane sealant that includes a tintable base, curative packet, and a choice of 70 standard colors. Dymeric 240FC polyurethane sealant is an all around general-purpose sealant that provides flexible, long life and durable waterproofing for both new construction and restoration projects in a very fast curing formulation. Dymeric 240FC is formulated as a lightweight material that is designed for extremely easy mixing even in cold temperatures. Dymeric 240FC is a solvent-free product that complies with all existing VOC regulations. Dymeric 240FC may be used in any vertical or horizontal joint designed in accordance with accepted architectural/engineering practices. Joint width should be 4 times anticipated movement, but not less than 1/4”. Color packets are sold separately. The curing agent, included, must be used for curing to take place. This product will not cure, otherwise.

Applications

• Masonry
• EIFS (exterior insulating and finishing systems)
• Metal curtain walls
• Perimeter joints around doors and windows
• Some water immersed uses
• Adheres to most common substrates

Limitations

• Pot life (after curative packet added): 3.0 to 3.5 hours at 77 °F, 1.5 to 2.0 hours at 95 °F, 1.0 to 1.5 hours at 120 °F.
• Do not apply Dymeric 240FC to damp or contaminated surfaces.
• Always utilize the accompanying Safety Data Sheet for information on PPE (personal protective equipment) and health hazards.
• The use of a Tremco universal color pack, sold separately, is always required except with the pretinted limestone.
