Gunther Premier Plus Gray Mirror Mastic - 10.1 Fluid Ounce Cartridge

Gunther Premier Plus Gray Mirror Mastic is a very high-quality, urethane-based adhesive formulated to provide a durable, permanent bond between electro-copper-plated glass mirror and acrylic mirror and various porous, non-porous, primed and unprimed building materials. This professional mirror adhesive is a very versatile, safe and dependable product and ideal for high-traffic areas such as gyms, dance studios, and commercial establishments. It holds firm yet absorbs movement, vibrations, and allows for thermal expansion and contraction while keeping its permant bond and flexibility. This adhesive for mirrors can be built out to 2" for larger mirrors or uneven wall projects or compressed to 1/16" for mirror installations requiring closer tolerances like overlays, mirrored furniture, and medicine cabinets. Support mechanisms are recommended for all mirror applications. This product achieves 30% strength in 24 hours after being applied and fully cures in 7 days. Curing time depends on temperature, amount of product used, porosity of substrate, and amount of air reaching product. Premier Plus Mirror Mastic should be applied only in vertical beads the length of the mirror, 5-6” apart. Allow 3” from the mirror edge to begin or end a bead.

*All porous substrates, such as those highlighted above, should always be sealed. A sealer adds strength to the wall and prevents caustic chemicals from attacking the mirror backing.

Limitations

• Mechanical support systems are recommended for all mirror applications. This includes the use of mechanical fasteners at the top and bottom of the mirror.
• DO NOT APPLY Gunther Mirror Mastics to vinyl backing.
