DuPont Molykote 111 Compound - 14 Fluid Ounce Cartridge

DuPont (formerly Dow) Molykote 111 compound consists of a silicone oil and organic thickener which provides excellent lubrication for control and pressure plug valves, water softener and faucet valves. Molykote 111 is an outstanding sealant for vacuum and pressure systems, outdoor equipment (also shipboard) subject to washing and harsh environmental exposure: meters, electrical service entrance and underground connections. Molykote 111 is a damping medium for dash pots in electrical and electronic equipment and can be used as an anti-stick and a sealant for transformer gasket and equipment enclosures. This lubricant prevents gaskets, rubber and plastic O rings and seals from sticking to metal and resists weathering and water washout. Molykote 111 performs is a wide temperature range of -40°F to 392°F. It provides excellent water resistance and is compatible with many plastics and elastomers plus meets several global standards for water contact.

Limitations

• Not to be used with liquid oxygen and should not be used in applications requiring LOX compatibility
