Product Overview
CRL 777 butyl rubber sealant consists of a butyl based polymer formula that repels weather extremes and will last for many years. When CRL 777 sealant is applied to a clean surface, this butyl caulk offers excellent adhesion and will hold up to joint movement +/-10% without affecting its sealing ability and resistance to water penetration. CRL 777 butyl sealant contains a unique ultraviolet fighting agent which provides outstanding longevity. CRL 777 butyl sealant is recommended for exterior applications and provides an excellent contact with wood, masonry, metal surfaces and glass. Applications in hidden areas around sills, thresholds, screw heads, between metal panels, wall mounted air conditioners, and beneath aluminum siding. soffit, facia and gutters, to name a few, are all excellent locations for butyl rubber sealants. Apply in temperatures between 0° to 120° F. The service temperature range is between -20° to 200° F. CRL 777 butyl rubber sealant offers excellent adhesion to all clean surfaces and will withstand joint movement of +10% without affecting its water tightness. Also, it has a special U.V. fighting agent for exceptional service life.
