Sika Aktivator 100 Adhesion Promoter - 250ml Bottle

Sika Aktivator-100 is an activating agent to improve adhesion. It is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of various Sika polyurethane adhesives. Sika Aktivator-100 improves adhesion on substrates such as glass, ceramic coated glass, the cut face of old polyurethane adhesive, polyurethane pre-applied windows, and various paints. Sika Aktivator-100 is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility. Sika Aktivator-100 contains solvent which may dull the surface finish of some freshly applied paints. Preliminary trials must be carried out prior to actual application. Never apply to porous substrates since Sika Aktivator-100 may not dry completely on these type of surfaces preventing the adhesive or sealant from curing properly. Protect adjacent surfaces by masking where necessary. Sika Aktivator-100 is a moisture reactive system. In order to maintain product quality it is important to reseal the container with the inner plastic liner immediately after use. Once the surface pre-treatment operation is completed the cap has to be screwed on. Prolonged exposure to atmospheric moisture will cause Sika Aktivator-100 to become inactive. Immediately discard Sika Aktivator-100 if it has become opaque instead of clear. Dispose the product of approximately one month after opening if used frequently or after 2 months in case of infrequent use. Never dilute or mix Sika Aktivator-100 with any other substances. It is not to be used for tooling / smoothing of products or as a bare cleaning agent.
